No one's gonna accuse these guys of being posers! Stuck Mojo, the heavy, chunk-a-chunk band out of Atlanta, has released their first nationally distributed CD entitled "Snappin' Necks." The overall vibe is plain and simple. Heavy.

You won't find any sappy singing or melodic guitar solos that all the neighborhood kids would try to learn. You'll find pure groove. The kind of groove that makes your head and shoulders rock back and forth.

The ban's personnel, two black and two white, come from backgrounds as diverse as one can imagine. Reggae; Southern-fried rock; Blues; pure, straight-ahead rock; and rap/hip-hop are all mixed together with just a smidgen of attitude thrown in for good measure.

This unlikely marriage of styles creates a hybrid that bounces back and forth between crunchy heavy metal guitar with a bottom-heavy groove and rap assault. Infectious to say the least!
