Cincinnati native Tonee Elliott is a veteran of the music scene, touring regionally with the Tonee Elliott band, but now he sings (or barks) another tune.

The Sick Dogs, a progressive, hard alternative rock/rap group based in the Virginia Beach area has recently released their first CD, Out of the Pound. . .Into the Pit.

The collection of songs run the gamut from heavy, soulful rap/rock to politically charged rantings (check out "CIA"). The group even successfully transforms Ice T's "Body Count in the House" into an anthem of their own. The disc highlights Elliott's strong songwriting technique and showcases the band's ability to convey realistic emotions -- anger, pain and passion.
