Trent Reznor has gone off the deep end. Anybody that rents the home in which Sharon Tate and friends
were murdered by Manson's group to record his last album needs some help. He most likely
was wooing the evil spirits. And I'm only half-joking.
The Downward Spiral is on the same path. Sure, you gloom maids with your black clothes and tarot
cards can go enjoy this piece of noise. And it isn't even innovative. Remember Ministry before
they became accessible? Yeah, they sold out, too Anyhow, the point I'm making is that The
Downward Spiral sounds a lot like Ministry's Land of Rape and Honey. Both of them suck.
This album isn't music. It's some whacked-out, sub-human experience that you should
not listen to with any enduced buzz. If you do, baby, you're doomed.
God is not dead. The Downward Spiral is. And believe me, I can think for myself and don't need
music to do it for me. Questions? Take a listen to TDS in a listening booth.
